Newspring Church (formerly Messiah Baptist) came to us seeking a partner to help develop and design the creative components for some of their sermon series. Each six- to eight-week series is heavily branded, featuring a unique identity and collateral.

After sitting down with senior pastor Mark Hoover and worship pastor Lance Cummins, we work to create an identity that matches the theme and an accompanying worship folder.

The first series we had the opportunity to work on was titled “It.” The idea behind the series was that some people just have “it”–athletes, models, business icons, etc. What is “it” for Christians is faith; that’s what sets us apart. We used an abstract, biological concept to illustrate the way faith courses through the body. Once faith has been “pumped” through the system, it becomes an inseparable part of a person, forever changing the way he lives.

The next series we supported was titled “How to be truly likeable.” We created a1950s, infomercial feel for this sermon platform.
