What is Creel?

The Creel Institute is a division of The Strategy Group LLC, a full-service strategic marketing firm established in 1990 and based in Wichita, Kan. Creel is the result of a long-held vision and passion to help churches, ministries and Christian leaders become more strategic and directed.

We’ve served churches and ministries and counseled individuals for many years. We’ve helped leaders focus their attention and understand the specific next steps they need to take to carry out their God-given vision. We’ve helped organizations articulate or understand that vision. We’ve crafted organizational core messages. We’ve developed world-class communication materials. We’ve helped ensure that precious dollars aren’t thrown to the wind in a shotgun fashion, that they are instead allocated in a meaningful way to a targeted audience.

In short, we’ve helped people and organizations overcome “false starts” and start bearing fruit.

This work isn’t limited to mega-churches, high-powered organizations or CEOs of major corporations. No matter your size, position, resources or environment, we can equip you, develop for you and execute for you.

Our desire is to see passion lived out and hope ignited. We want to see individuals and organizations both large and small more effectively carry out the work they have been given to do.

We want to equip fishers of men.

Statement of Faith

The following defines who we are, what we believe and why we do what we do:

  • We believe in the triune God—God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the one name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
  • We believe the Bible is the irrefutable Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, true for yesterday, today and tomorrow, and profitable for teaching. God’s Word serves as a plumb line of accountability in our lives for our words, attitudes and actions.
  • We believe that all are called to love God, live for Him and surrender to His purposes. When we understand purpose and passionately work it out in our lives, we have the greatest opportunity to reach people for Christ.
